About Us

BoxHeadBulls Journey...

Our kennel was formally known as OP Kennel but we decided to change our name to BoxHeadBulls in 2021. We breed American Bullies and Olde English Bulldogges near Kansas City, Missouri. It all started back in 2016 when we got our first OEB from a local breeder. Dog breeding was something new to us back then, but over time we grew to love the science process behind it all.

There is often a misunderstanding about bulldogs and American bullies because of the negative image surrounding both breeds. In reality, they are gentle dogs that make great companions. Our goal is to dispel these myths by breeding healthy and well-behaved bullies through our program.

We breed Olde English Bulldogges and American Bullies that not just look the part, but have great dispositions. All of our program dogs are raised in our family home with lots of love and attention from their first day until they go to their new families.

We strive to produce the best possible American Bully puppies and Olde English Bulldogge puppies, working with responsible and reputable breeders in our program.

It also requires knowing which traits you want to see in the offspring and carefully choosing parents that will produce those desired characteristics. The Olde English Bulldogge is a British dog breed that dates back to the 16th or 17th centuries. These were the early ancestors of many of today’s Bull breeds, including the English Bulldog and American Bulldog.

BoxHeadBulls is dedicated to our Olde English Bulldogge breeding program. Health and lack of inheritable issues are important to us, which is why we put all of our dogs through genetic testing and screening. Additionally, every dog in our kennel receives socialization and training prior to being adopted so they will be ready for their forever homes.

We breed bulldogges with the aim of producing healthy, content dogs that will make their families happy for years to come. When we breed, we think about every aspect carefully, from bloodlines to temperament- never cutting corners in an attempt to produce the best possible puppies. The wellbeing of our puppies is always BHB’s top priority. We make sure to carefully place each one in a home where they will be happy and loved. Our Olde English Bulldogges are bred to be healthy and well-adjusted, so their families can enjoy them for many years.
